GR Infra Wins NMRC Aqua Line Extension’s Tender

(EPT): GR Infraprojects Limited (GRIL) has emerged as L-1 bidder for the tender invited by Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC), for part design and construction of elevated viaduct and five elevated stations, of Noida-Greater Noida Metro Rail Project. Ashoka Buildcon was L-2 and Sam India Builtwell got technically disqualified.

The counter climbed to a high of Rs 1,700 against the previous close of Rs 1,650.05 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The completion period is 24 months with bid project cost of Rs592.99cr the company said in a release.

GR Infraprojects (GRIL) is an integrated road engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company largely focused on road sector. The company have also recently diversified into projects in the railway sector.

This is the fourth round of bidding for this section (Package NGNC-01) of the Aqua Line’s 14.95 km eastern extension (Sector 51 to Knowledge Park V) which was approved for construction by the Uttar Pradesh government in December 2019.

Brief Scope of Work: Part Design and Construction of Elevated Viaduct and 5 elevated stations viz NOIDA SEC -122, NOIDA SEC-123 GR. NOIDA SEC-4 ECOTECH-12 GR NOIDA SEC-2 (excluding Architectural finishing Works and PEB works of stations) from Chainage 0.00 m to Chainage 9605 m of Noida -Greater Noida Metro Rail Project.

This package consists of 5 elevated stations at Noida Sector 122, Noida Sector 123, Greater Noida Sector 4, Ecotech 12 (Tech Zone) and Greater Noida Sector 2.
