HPGCL floats an O&M tender for a 10 MW grid-connected solar project in Haryana

(EPT): Panipat Thermal station, a subsidiary of Haryana power Generation Corporation Limited (HPGCL), has issued a request for proposals for the operation and maintenance of its 10 MW grid-connected solar power project.

The project was commissioned in 2016 and has 34,940 solar modules of 315 W supplied by JA solar and 1820 modules of 325 W by Canadian solar. Hitachi delivered eight solar inverters, each rated at 1250 KW.

As per tender guidelines, to be eligible for the bidding process, inspections of panels, inverters, string measurement boxes, and transformers must be arranged by the bidder, in the event that the equipment is damaged, the bidder will be responsible for replacing at his or her own expense, the winning bidder would be responsible for providing comprehensive protection for the projects premises.

Bidder must be original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with two year of expertise in operation and maintenance (O&M) of a solar project with a capacity of 5 MW or greater in the previous five years, in these years, they must have had a capacity utilisation factor (CUF) of 18 percent or greater, Furthermore, the winning bidder will be responsible for the solar projects overall operation and maintenance for a team of 5 year.

This includes all preventative and corrective maintenance on all project-installed equipment, the bid submission deadline is December 27, 2021.

In February 2021, HPCGL invited bids for 6 MW gird-connected solar projects at Chandpur in Faridabad, Haryana, developers would be required to carry out includes the design, engineering procurement construction, and commissioning of the project. further, the developer must offer comprehensive operation and maintenance services for the project for at least five years and a maximum of ten years.
