Sterling & Wilson Solar is in Advance Execution Stage of Develop 40 MW Solar Project in UP

(EPT) : EPC Company STERLING & WILSON RENEWABLES ENERGY LIMITED is in the advanced stage of development of a 40 MW project in Deoria (UP). The project is under construction and expected to be commissioned by July 2022. 

Sterling & Wilson received this order from Ampuls solar in competitive bidding and is working as EPC for 40 MW this project. Project site is 40 MW (AC) SOLAR POWER PLANT, VILLAGE-BORIA SULTAN, DIST. DEORIA, UP.  

The complete 40 MW (AC) solar PV plant turnkey project awarded to Sterling & Wilson Solar Ltd. by Amplus Solar & all equipment purchase like inverters, transformers, cables ,civil work, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance shall be done by Sterling & Wilson only  and PV module purchase & supply process shall be completed by Amplus. 

After commissioning of the project Sterling will also do the operation and maintenance for next 2 years.

Last month Shapoorji Pallonji & company sold 1,84,00,000 shares of the Sterling & Wilson Renewable Energy (SWREL) to Reliance New Energy Solar Limited (RNESL) through one off transfer. Post the transaction, Shapoorji Pallonji’s stake in SWREL has come down to 33.06%. 

Currently, Reliance New Energy Solar Limited (RNESL) has become SWREL promoter after it paid payment of balance ₹1,583 crore for acquisition of 25.90% equity in it.
